Rams bring in 7 from free agency
The Rams have a busy free agency period signing 7 players.

WR William Newman GM Croydon gets reunited with a player he drafted while with the Cardinals. Newman will add quality depth for a season or two.

WR Joel Simpson Another player GM Croydon drafted while with the Cardinals. Simpson like Newman provides very nice depth.

WR Thomas Quick More depth at WR Quick provides a younger alternative, and is very agile and has impressive leaping abilities.

OLB Kevin Murphy An unsigned rookie OLB will be a project for the Rams to develop.

CB Sam Haley Provides nice depth at Cornerback.

CB Todd Floyd another nice prospect that will provide depth at cornerback.

SS Mario Bird Will challenge Jared Vincient as the starter at the strong safety position.

St Louis Rams Draft Report
After sneaking into the playoffs last despite failing to win half our games we found ourself in a position of late later than we felt we should have been.

We traded our first round choice to the Broncos to bring in HB Tommy Jefferson and the 19th pick of the second round. With this trade we had the intention of trading HB Champ Williams, this has not paned out out as we hoped and we will more than likely be taking a 2 back approach to our rushing attack next season.

Pick 2.19 CB Zack Harrison he helps sure up our CBs which was a weaker point of our defense this past season.

Pick 2.29 WR Richie Harris This was another area we needed help, Richie Harris provides us with a Darnerien McCants type WR for those that have been around a while will remember how successful he was.

Pick 3.21 QB Ernie Whitfield With Carson Palmer aging he has the size and arm to step in and start straight away. He has some smarts as a rookie as well we are looking forward to seeing what he can do on the the field this upcoming season.

Pick 5.21 LE B.B. Stradling We had been eying Stradling off for this pick, He should fit in nicely with our DLine and provide nice depth.

Pick 6.21

Pick 7.21
